A better method than applying insecticides can be to eliminate the bees without murdering them, particularly if you have a beekeeper who is prepared to assist. The beekeeper will first have to find the nest by tapping the wall and listening to the colony's hum. To discover the corners of the nest, some beekeepers depend on stethoscopes. Others drill very tiny holes in the wall and insert a good wire in order to find the nest's periphery. Taking honey bees and their combs from the nesting place involves opening in some part of the construction a relatively big hole. This is best performed by a skilled contractor so that after removing the bees, the hole can be readily closed.
